What is Micro-Needling?

Micro-Needling is a skin rejuvenation treatment used for facial tightening, stretch marks, scarring and wrinkle reduction. It can also be used successfully to treat acne scars, wound healing, alopecia, and can minimise the skin’s pore size.

How does it work?

Micro-Needling uses multiple tiny needles that vertically pierce the dermis and epidermis of the skin, triggering an immune response. It harnesses the body’s natural ability to regrow collagen and stimulates the skins natural healing response. The skin can quickly heal with almost no downtime and the vibrating function of Micro-Needling reduces pain and discomfort whilst increasing effectiveness.

What to expect from the treatment?

Clients can expect to experience mild discomfort and a small amount of bleeding from the tiny puncture sites. For the first day or 2, clients can expect to have a slightly pink face but this can be covered with mineral makeup. Results may vary depending on the individual response, the area treated, and the type of result you are looking for. Some treatments require 6 visits at 2-6 week intervals to achieve the desired outcome.
